ENERCON CONTROLS AND SWITCHGEAR SAMPLE SPECIFICATIONS AND SEQUENCE OF OPERATION

 

The following is a description of the sample specifications. As the spec writer selects the appropriate specification, he or she should go through and select and modify accordingly. Items that need to be changed are bracketed.

 

1. Basic Emergency Paralleling Controls
a. Includes genset controller with metering.
b. Master PLC and color touch screen optional.

 
2. Enhanced Emergency Paralleling Controls
a. Includes item 1 plus adds color touch screen to each genset.
b. Master PLC and color touch screen standard.

3. Basic Utility/Generator Paralleling Controls
a. Same as item 1.
b. Adds utility controller and functions, master PLC and color touch screen optional.

4. Enhanced Utility/Generator Paralleling Controls
a. Same as item 2.
b. Adds utility controller and functions, master PLC and color touch screen standard.

5. Low Voltage (LV) Switchgear
a. To be used in conjunction with items 1, 2, 3, or 4 accordingly when the controls are separate from the LV switchgear.

6. Medium Voltage (MV) Switchgear
a. To be used in conjunction with items 1, 2, 3, or 4 accordingly when the controls are separate from the MV switchgear.

7. Low Voltage Basic Emergency Paralleling Switchgear
a. Includes item 1 and 5.

8. Low Voltage Enhanced Emergency Paralleling Switchgear
a. Includes item 2 and 5.

9. Low Voltage Basic Utility/Generator Paralleling Switchgear
a. Includes item 3 and 5.

10. Low Voltage Enhanced Utility/Generator Paralleling Switchgear
a. Includes item 4 and 5.

11. Medium Voltage Basic Emergency Paralleling Switchgear
